BASIC INTERNET SETUP

the cabling should be connected

Most of our customers use either ADSL2+ or FTTC connection. This means that the cable going into your property is made of copper and uses a standard landline. 
The connection is terminated at your property with a Master Socket.
You need to use a DSL Filter to connect your router to the network. Use the RJ11 cable between the DSL Filter and your router. 
A wider BT to RJ11 Cable is used to connect the DSL Filter to your handset (unless it uses VoIP).
You can connect your devices using WiFi or RJ45 Cable (Standard network cable)
